La Calypso – Fish grilled over an open fire
Facing the Pô oyster beds, just a few minutes from the beaches of Carnac, La Calypso is a characterful restaurant housed in a former fisherman's cottage. Alexandru Carausu and his team continue the authentic culinary traditions of Brittany here.

Tibidy Oysters – Oyster farmer since 1937
For a typical Breton experience, head to Tibidy Huîtres, a family-run oyster farm located between Carnac and Plouharnel, facing Quiberon Bay. Since 1937, three generations of the Jenot family (Paulin, Hervé, and now Maxime) have succeeded one another at the helm of this business.
The store, open seven days a week all year round, sells oysters farmed in Quiberon Bay, as well as shellfish and crustaceans such as lobster, crab, and spider crab. All products come directly from the tanks and ponds, guaranteeing absolute freshness.
The best part? You can enjoy the oysters on site, overlooking the magnificent Quiberon Bay, during opening hours. An unforgettable experience for seafood lovers.
For groups (15 adults or more), Tibidy also offers introductory tours of oyster farming by appointment. This is a unique way to learn about the oyster farming profession and the secrets of oyster farming in Brittany.
