Located in the heart of Camping Les Druides, Bar Le Carpe Diem offers its guests a special place to unwind after a day of exploring. The bar is open daily starting at 6 p.m. (April through September) and exudes a vacation atmosphere: simple, warm, and cozy.

The bar is reserved for guests staying at the campground (camping sites, mobile homes), ensuring a family-friendly and safe atmosphere that’s ideal for genuine interactions among campground neighbors.

The "Carpe Diem" Philosophy

As the name suggests, the bar’s philosophy is: seize the day without worrying about tomorrow. There’s no set closing time—it depends on the atmosphere of the evening and the guests’ preferences.

  • Soccer Nights: The bar stays open later (10 p.m., 11 p.m.) for conversations, laughter, and festive moments.

  • The bar may also close earlier (around 9 p.m.) so that everyone can enjoy some peace and quiet.

Thanks to this flexibility, you can completely let go of the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy the simple things: a drink on the patio, a spontaneous conversation, or just spending time together.

Menu and Specialties

The bar offers a varied menu to suit every taste:

  • Homemade cocktails: Mojito, Piña Colada, Spritz—carefully prepared to order.

  • Breton flavors: local beers (on tap or in a bottle) and artisanal cider from Morbihan.

  • Wines and aperitifs: a selection of white, red, and rosĂ© wines for your evenings.

  • Non-alcoholic: fruit juices, soft drinks, and syrups for children, plus hot beverages (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) for cooler evenings.

Atmosphere and surroundings

The terrace is the true heart of Carpe Diem. With comfortable furniture, soft lighting, and string lights, it offers a relaxing spot starting at dusk.

The music (jazz, lounge, French pop) plays softly, so you can talk comfortably. The ideal place to:

  • to meet up after a trip to Beaumer Beach (500 m away) or a visit to the Carnac menhirs.

  • to share experiences and exchange tips (restaurants, hikes, hidden beaches) with other guests.
