Le Carpe Diem Bar at Camping Les Druides in Carnac: lounge area, wooden bar, and glass-enclosed game room

Bar Le Carpe Diem – Relaxation & Good Company

An exclusive space for relaxation

Located at the heart of Camping Les Druides, Bar Le Carpe Diem offers guests a special place to relax after a day full of new experiences. Open every day from 6 p.m. (April through September), it embodies the spirit of vacation: simple, warm, and friendly.

Reserved for guests staying on-site (campsites and mobile homes), it ensures a family-friendly, safe atmosphere—perfect for genuine conversations among campground neighbors.

The "Carpe Diem" philosophy

As its name suggests, the bar's philosophy is to live for the moment without worrying about tomorrow. There is no set closing time here: it simply goes with the flow of the evening and what the guests feel like doing.

  • Soccer nights: The bar stays open later (10 p.m., 11 p.m.) for chatting, laughter, and celebrations.

  • It may also close earlier (around 9 p.m.) so that everyone can enjoy some peace and quiet.

This flexibility lets you completely unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures: a drink on the terrace, a spontaneous chat, or just spending time together.

Drinks and Specialties

The bar offers a varied menu to suit every taste:

  • Homemade cocktails: Mojito, Piña Colada, Spritz—all carefully prepared to order.

  • Breton flavors: local beers (on tap or bottled) and craft ciders from Morbihan.

  • Wines and aperitifs: a selection of white, red, and rosé wines for your evenings.

  • Non-alcoholic: fruit juices, soft drinks, and cordials for children, plus hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) for cooler evenings.

Our bartender will be happy to give you recommendations and let you try our house specialties or local dishes.

Atmosphere and Setting

The terrace is the true heart of Carpe Diem. With comfortable furniture, soft lighting, and string lights, it offers a relaxing atmosphere from dusk onward.

The music (jazz, lounge, French pop) is soft, so conversation flows easily. It's the ideal place to:

  • Meet up after visiting Beaumer Beach (500 m away) or the Carnac Alignments.

  • Share experiences and exchange tips (restaurants, walks, hidden beaches) with other guests.

Practical Information

  • Opening hours: Open daily at 6 p.m. Closing time depends on how busy it is.

  • Access: reserved exclusively for campground guests (wristband or ID required).

  • Payment: Cash and credit cards accepted.

  • Location: central, a few minutes' walk from every campsite.

Bar Le Carpe Diem is more than just a place to eat and drink—it’s the perfect spot to experience the friendly atmosphere of Camping Les Druides and create lasting memories of your vacation in southern Brittany.
